Wendy Park
Wendy Park is one of the many successful “living laboratory” projects in the Valley. What had been a largely inaccessible, undeveloped, and rugged swath of land on Whiskey Island has become a unique urban park in Cleveland enjoyed by thousands of people each year. Wendy Park provides direct access to both Lake Erie and the Cuyahoga River. The park offers a variety of opportunities for recreation and relaxation, with sand volleyball courts, picnic areas, kayak launching points, walking trails, and ample opportunities for bird watching, boat and train watching, gazing at the Cleveland skyline, or taking in a gorgeous sunset over Lake Erie.
The Wendy Park Foundation provides support for the Park and activities.
