Many people in the community have shared their thoughts about CVI with Cuyahoga County Planning Commission staff and/or staff from our consultant, Currere, Inc. Thanks to this community input and funding from The George Gund Foundation, we are in the process of designing an organization that will be equipped to take on CVI's purpose - to restore the economic, social and environmental health of the Cuyahoga Valley.

The intention is for any new organizational capacity to work on the entire Valley and be designed to complement, not duplicate, the work of the many organizations currently active in the Valley's revitalization.

We hope you will be able to assist our efforts by completing the survey and sending it back to cuyahogavalley@cuyahogacounty.us. The survey consists of three questions. Please mark the boxes that apply for each question. We estimate that filling out the survey will take 5 to 10 minutes of your time. The information will assure that we consider the existing network of organizations and projects as the CVI organization design emerges.

Please feel free to let your colleagues know that we are collecting this data. They are welcome to fill out a survey as well.

We plan on posting the results of this survey work on our website in late January.
